Health Professional as an educator Masters Module Brighton
Since graduating I have built a diverse, international career; gaining significant experience in pelvic physiotherapy.
I treat a range of conditions including all pelvic floor disorders in both women and men, pregnancy-related conditions, and musculoskeletal injuries. My focus being pre or post natal and female pelvic pain (including vulvodynia, vaginismus, endometriosis associated pain, and bladder pain syndrome).
I am a MummyMOT® Practitioner and have a diverse skill set to get you back to what you love after having a baby. I have additional training in pessary fitting for pelvic organ prolapse, as well as chronic pain management, dry needling and women’s health acupuncture.
I have been a Pelvic Health clinic lead whilst residing in Jersey, Channel Islands, have held clinical specialist roles within the NHS and have had exposure working with urogynaecologists as part of a multidisciplinary team. However, I also have experience working in private practice in multiple clinics in Brighton and internationally.
I am combining advanced clinical skills with a patient-centered approach, striving to deliver effective treatments that improve quality of life.
Although my focus is predominantly around pelvic health; I have a strong musculoskeletal background, with extensive experience working in Verbier, Switzerland, treating acute skiing injuries, not to mention a broad range of experience treating runners in preparation for races at the likes of the London and Brighton marathons.
This allows me to treat your entire body if there are issues along the way back to recovery. I have also worked online managing pelvic and musculoskeletal patients for several years, allowing me to treat you even when face-to-face treatment is not available.
I am passionate about pilates and have been teaching pilates since I qualified as a physiotherapist. I am a qualified APPI Pilates matwork and reformer instructor. My time spent in Australia gave me a huge amount of experience teaching clinical pilates. I take a hands on approach but also empower you by teaching you how to exercise safely and without fear.
My personal experiences with trauma have given me a profound empathy, allowing me to truly understand and connect with you during our sessions. With over a decade of experience I have been lucky to have treated thousands of patients. I am excited to bring this wealth of knowledge and insight directly to you in the comfort of your own homes.
